The Diary of Anne Frank fall play

Our eighth grade students went on a field trip to see live theater right here under our own roof!  Senior high English teacher and fall play director Deb Frauenholz and the high school cast and crew of The Diary of Anne Frank fall play presented an impressive assembly to the eighth grade class today. 

The performance was a terrific opportunity for Avonworth middle and high school students to make a curricular connection.  In the spring, eighth graders will read the Goodrich and Hackett Pulitzer prize play The Diary of Anne Frank that the high school is currently performing. The assembly broadened our eighth graders' understanding of theater and provided a sneak peek of the future eighth grade text.

The end of the layered curriculum is quickly approaching. It is now time to start thinking about your last activity. Over the next two days, decide which assessment you would like to complete.
