8th Graders can join cross country

Any 8th Grade student who is interested in joining the Boys & Girls High School Cross Country team next school year can attend pre-season conditioning after school on the following dates:  Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23.  We will meet from 3:00 to 4:00 at the Track.  Students should bring water & their running shoes.  If you have any questions, email Coach Smith jsmith@avonworth.k12.pa.us Also pre-season conditioning continues May 28, 29, and 30th.

End of the Year Pool Social

Our Parent Network is holding an End-of-the Year Pool Social on Saturday, June 8th from 8-10pm at ACCORD Pool. Cost of admission is $6.00.

Building bridges to STEM careers

Students in the 8^th grade continue to apply engineering principles to their model bridges which are to be tested on Wednesday, May 29. Student progress can be seen posted to twitter with the hash tag #lab110.

Civics final exam

The Civics Final Exam will be on Wednesday, June 5. The comprehensive final will be worth 100 points. Students can use two study guides (distributed in Civics class) during the test.
