Join the middle school newspaper club! We will meet in room 110 after school until 4PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. The Herd needs cartoonists, writers, layout and graphic designers, and social media promoters! If you have questions, see Mrs Abate room 201 and Mr. Haskins room 110.

Due to the September 12, 2014 Avonworth High School football game being changed from an away game to a home game, it has been decided to cancel the social.  The next social is the Halloween costume party scheduled for Friday, October 10.  More information to follow. 
 

Please remember to complete the Social Rules and Expectations form and return it to the school, and plan to attend the first Parent Network meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, in the school library.

The Herd, the student newspaper at Avonworth Middle School, will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 3:00-4:00PM. The staff needs photographers, writers, and layout editors. Students and parents can learn more about The Herd from our website.
