Keystone Exams to be taken Next Week!

The 8th graders who are enrolled in Integrated Math I (Algebra), will take the Keystone Exams.

On May 17 & 19 (Periods A through D) each of the 2 modules have 23 multiple choice questions and 4 constructive response questions. Students may use a graphing or scientific calculators on this test. For more information on the Keystone Exams, please go to www.pde.state.pa.us.

Pancake Breakfast Tomorrow

Parent Network will be sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast this Friday, 5/13/16, that includes great toppings and a drink for $3.

Restaurant Choice for Friday's Field Trip

Strip District Restaurant Choices to be made 5/17/16!

Each student must sign up for a restaurant while attending the Strip District field trip. Please note that you are not guaranteed your first, second or third choices!  Also, you must choose a travel buddy before selecting your restaurant choices! Only pairs will be grouped together! 

Students will get their first choice unless there are more than 12 students (six pairs) requesting that restaurant. If more than 12 students (six pairs) are wanting the same first choice, a lottery will be conducted to fill the twelve slots. Students who do not get their first choice will then be placed in their second choice as long as that restaurant is not also filled.

Cross Country Pre-Season Workouts Continue

Pre-season Cross Country workouts continue next week on Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18 from 3:00 to 4:00.   Any parents of student-athletes should attend an informational meeting at 4:00 in the Middle School Cafeteria on Wednesday, May 18. All 8th grade boys & girls are welcome to attend (no previous running experience necessary).

Notice from the Library - End of the Year

1. The final day for students to check out books will be May 20th. No new check outs will take place after this time. 

2. All materials are due back to the library by the end of the day on May 31st. If you need materials longer than that please let Mrs. Hickman know.
