Literacy Education in Math Class

The 8^th grade would like to thank Mr. Grandovic of Northwest Savings Bank in Sewickley for presenting to the pre-algebra students about banking on May 13^th.  Mr. Grandovic spoke about the importance of financial literacy, focusing on fiscal responsibility and the four things you can do with money: EARN, SPEND, SHARE, and GROW, specially speaking about fiscal responsibility.  This is Mr. Grandovic’s second year presenting on this important subject to our students as a conclusion to our financial literacy unit.

A special thanks to Mr. Leo Grandovic from Northwest Savings Bank in Sewickley.  He visited Ms. Costantino's pre-algebra classes on Tuesday, May 28th to discuss the banking industry, investing, and budgeting.  This speaker helped us wrap up our financial literacy unit in math!
